Wire Chair DKX

Wire Chair DKX by Charles and Ray Eames is a variation on the organically shaped one-piece seat shell, boasting a light transparency and high technicality. Wire chairs are not upholstered and are available with seat cushions or seat and backrest upholstery. Because of its shape, this upholstery is sometimes referred to as a “bikini”.

Materials: chromed steel wire, chromed tubular steel frame.

DKX is short for Dining Height K-Wire Shell X-Base.

The Wire Chairs are available with a powder-coated finish or, depending on the model, in a chrome-plated version. DKR and DKX models with a powder-coated finish are also ideally suited for outdoor use.
