Pivot Chair

Vitra Pivot Chair was designed by Antonio Citterio who developed an entire High Work system to include the Ad Hoc High Table for a healthier user posture and easy changing between working on a high chair or high stool and standing.

Experts in the field of office ergonomics recommend we spend around 40% of our time at work standing and 60% sitting. This alternation reduces strain on the body, promotes more movement and is good for your circulation. The Pivot Chair makes this easier, with the transition between standing up and sitting down more spotaneous and dynamic thanks to the height of the pivot counter stool or high working chair.

Pivot High Stool is around 30 cm higher than a standard office chair. Pivot Chair has a round, forward-tilting backrest, offering a lot of freedom of movement. The Pivot High Work Chair also includes a height-adjustable foot ring, together with the comfortable padding.
