Marvin Armchair

Marvin Armchair is an attractive reclining chair with invisible relaxation function. Designed by Christophe Marchand for Montis.

The invisible relaxation function technically made it a difficult project. This resulted in designing a new system different in conventional reclining chairs. A patent is pending for this system.

With the use of two simple cords on either side, the functions for the backrest and feet are provided with support using pressure cylinders. The main support has an integrated mechanism. The Marvin chair’s relaxation function is fully adjustable according to body length or sleep requirements.The flexible main support can be used to choose between an active or passive posture.
