GranTorino High Back Sofa

GranTorino High Back Sofa designed by Jean-Marie Massaud is like a small piece of architecture. The high back sofa helps create high-end comfortable social spaces and give the users some privacy in the office.

GranTorino High Back Sofa from Poltrona Frau creates a relaxed sense of intimacy and enclosure allowing one to escape from the interior surrounding distractions.

GranTorino HB Sofa seat structure is in metal tubing with interwoven elastic belts. Backrests and armrests are created from birch plywood. The external padding of the backrests and sides is in polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, whilst inside there is a soft quilting embellished with “X” stitching and padding in polyester wadding. The seat cushion is in down and polyester wadding with polyurethane foam stabilising insert. Each element is coupled with precise numbers of “moving” cushions, enhancing the backrest. GranTorino HB Sofa cushion sizes are 60×60 cm and 47×47 cm and they are filled with goose feathers. The feet are in titanium colour coated aluminium, with protective plastic caps. The upholstery matches leather with fabric: leather for the vertical panels and removable fabric for base, cushions and quilting.

The saddle leather version is enriched by raised stitching and the clean-cut leather is finished manually.

The GranTorino High Back Sofa’s side table base is in painted steel, in titanium colour or gunmetal meanwhile the surface is in Canaletto walnut or upholstered in Pelle Frau® or Saddle Extra.
