Furniture Has To Be Made From Traditional Materials
Who said furniture has to be made from traditional materials like metal, wood and concrete? Didn’t DaVinci’s Vitruvian Man show that the human body has the perfect dimensions to be manipulated into furniture?
That’s at least what designer, Nikolas Bentel, thought…
He is currently trying to patent his naked body (well, sketches thereof) posed in various furnituresque poses. Nikolas, for instances, poses in different ways where is arms act as coat hangers or his stomach as a coffee table.
His project might not be according to every office worker’s aesthetical tastes, but Bentel embarked on this project to try and find out how difficult is it to design a range of furniture, from initial sketches to filing a patent.
