Ara Task Chair is a mesh office chair range of refined performance, comfort and support that redefines the Orangebox perspective on sustainability.

Ara Mesh Chair is the first office chair range developed and manufactured in Europe to achieve Cradle to Cradle accreditation. The character and performance are defined by the design of this modern office chair’s adaptive elastomer membrane, the rigid outer frame supports the membrane with a posturally correct ‘S’ shape and its flexibility allows it to adjust automatically to the profile of your back. Ara Task Chair has a synchronous mechanism which delivers a smooth, balanced movement from impressively refined engineering; the elastomer membrane remains active even with a fully upholstered back due to the design of the foam’s internal structure.

Ara Mesh Back Office Chair features a height and depth adjustable lumbar support pad. The soft-touch arm pads can be rotated out of the way when needed, and automatically lock when in the forward position, preventing unexpected movement when rising from your seat. Other features include seat-height, seat-slide, back lock and body weight controls. Ara Office Task Chair is an exercise in ergonomic refinement.

Arms: Height adjustable arm is fitted in black as standard, with a soft TPU arm pad. Width adjustment arms available as an upcharge. The multi-adjustable arm is available as an upcharge, the lockable rotating arm with soft TPU arm pad is available in black and stone. The aluminium arm supports are Black, Stone, RAL 9006 or polished.

Back Plastics: The back plastics are available as Black, Stone, Sky, Leaf & Slate as standard.
